In addition to education and research, ESI provides its students with the means to develop a high-quality student life. This is to ensure conditions that promote their success and fulfilment. To this end, ESI students organise themselves within the Association of Students of the School of Information Sciences (ADE) to plan cultural, sporting and scientific activities each year, such as:

• The GENI Business Forum
• ESI Cultural Week
• Participation in inter-university competitions including ENACTUS
• The Sports Competitions
• Representation of ESI at career orientation forums
• Participation in the Great Debaters competition
