As part of the cooperation agreement signed during the 2021/2022 academic year between the School of information Sciences (ESI) and the Knoxville School of Information Sciences, College of Communication and Information at the University of Tennessee, a student exchange program was launched to strengthen scientific, academic, and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.
The first exchange took place in early January 2026. On this occasion, a group of American students enrolled in the “Information Science Global Study” program was hosted at ESI.
During their stay, the students attended a series of training sessions at ESI, focusing on Generative AI for Data Analytics and Storytelling, Prompt Engineering and Data Analytics, as well as Case Studies and Datasets for Portfolio Projects.
This partnership and exchange program are part of ESI’s internationalization strategy and reflect its commitment to developing long-term, structured collaborations in the fields of information science, data, and emerging technologies
